ENGLAND fans began queuing up for pubs 12 hours before the Euro 2020 final kick-off in an attempt to bag some of the best seats in the city.

Ye Olde King & Queen in Marlborough Place, Brighton, has been a long-time favourite destination for football fans.

Droves of England supports were pictured queuing up for a seat at tonight's big game at noon – seven hours before kick-off.

However, the most eager fans began queuing at 8am in a bid to get a seat for England men's first international final since 1966.

The pub is now reportedly full.

The football pub was forced to close its doors ahead of England's game against Germany at Euro 2020 due to a Covid-19 outbreak.

But the venue, which has been decorated with flags and inflatable footballs since the start of the international tournament, reopened just a few days later.

England captain Harry Kane said the team hopes to do their fans proud in their bid for Euro 2020 glory, as the Queen and Prime Minister threw their support behind the nation’s footballers.

The monarch paid tribute to the “spirit, commitment and pride” of the team in a good luck message ahead of Sunday’s final on home turf.
