A POPULAR miniature railway club has been trashed by vandals.
Sussex Police believe youths targeted Polegate and District Model Engineering Club in Brightling Road on June 22.
The club is run by volunteers and relies on donations.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said it is "an important part of the community".
PCSOs from the Hailsham Neighbourhood Policing Team attended to make enquiries after responding to reporst of antisocial behaviour at the miniature railway club.
PCSO Richie Davidson said: ‘We are looking to talk to anyone who has information regarding the recent anti social behaviour or can help identify those responsible.’
If you are witness to any of the anti-social behaviour effecting the club, you know the youths involved, or you have information on any crime within the wider community please report it via 101 in a non-emergency or the Sussex website quoting ref 7476 of 13/07.
