A SCHOOLGIRL has scored the highest possible number of points in her International Baccalaureate (IB) qualification.

Charlotte Ogden-Meade from Christ's Hospital in Horsham has been awarded the maximum 45 points in her IB results.

Other pupils from the school who completed the qualification also scored highly, with the strongest set of results of any previous cohort.

Of the 13 pupils who took part in the non-examinable route, seven achieved 40+ points and almost all obtained 36 or higher.

Simon Reid, headteacher, said: "Although Christ Hospital pupils gain a good number of very high marks each year, receiving the best possible mark is an IB first for the school.

"We are immensely proud of Charlotte's superb achievement.

"Well done to her and all the IB pupils on their results."

Charlotte is now set too study Anthropology at the University of Durham in September.
