WITH warm weather and clear skies anticipated for most of this week, many will be heading out to make the most of the sunshine.
But where in Brighton and Hove is the best place to enjoy the mini heatwave? The Argus has compiled this list of top places to go to make the most of the summer.
Relax on Brighton beach
The most instagrammed beach in the UK, Brighton beach is the go-to place for millions every year whenever the sun pops out from behind the clouds.
Packed with cafes, restaurants and deck chairs to lounge on, it’s the obvious place to go to soak up the sunshine - just don’t get attacked by the seagulls!
Stroll through one of Brighton’s parks
With almost one hundred parks and gardens across the city, there’s plenty of places to enjoy the great outdoors for a family picnic or a jog to take in the greenery. From Preston Park to St Ann’s Well Gardens with its native and exotic trees, there is no shortage of green spaces to explore and enjoy the warm weather.
Take an open air tour of Brighton
Take in all of the sights of our city in the open air from the Brighton Sightseeing bus. Let someone else drive as you see everything Brighton has to offer.
Play beach sports at Yellowave
If you prefer the sand, take a trip to Britain’s first beach sports centre and play volleyball, ultimate frisbee and beach rugby right on the seafront. With activities for all ages, it’s the perfect place for some family fun in the sun.
Explore Brighton’s pubs and bars
Don’t fancy the crowds on the beach? Not a problem - Brighton has around 900 pubs and bars where you can unwind, many of which have gardens where you can unwind with a beer, cocktail or sof drink.
However you plan on spending the sunshine, send us your pictures via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
