A MOTHER has been assaulted in front of her daughter at the self-scan till in a St Leonards supermarket.
A woman wearing a light grey tracksuit with "Queen" written on the top was in Asda with her ten-year-old daughter between 3.30pm and 4.15pm on Wednesday, June 30, when she was assaulted by another woman.
The woman is described as 5ft 8in and of medium build, with brown hair in a ponytail and wearing glasses, blue jeans, a white top and a long grey jumper.
Anyone who saw what happened or who has any other information is asked to contact police online or call 101 quoting serial 348 of 30/06.
