POLICE have released an image of a man wanted in connection with a racially aggravated public order offence.

The suspect is alleged to have used a number of racially explicit insults towards a victim on a Brighton and Hove bus.

The incident happened on the number one bus heading west along Western Road, Brighton, at 7.20pm on May 31.

The man, who is believed to be around 40, is roughly 5ft 10, of stocky build, with dyed blonde hair which has been tied back.

He was wearing a short-sleeved tight black shirt with white stars all over and black shorts.

He was also wearing a blue disposable face mask.

The suspect was with another man and the pair also had a small dog with them.

They were sat on the lower deck near the front of the bus when the incident happened.
