PHOTOS of designer handbags and accessories stolen in a burglary have been released by police.

Officers were called to the Bond Street to Your Street store in Lion Street, Rye, about 1.50am on Monday, June 7, following reports of a break-in.

Police said an extensive search supported by the dog unit was carried out at the scene, but with no trace of the suspects.

After an investigation was launched, it was established that a “substantial number of designer handbags and accessories” had been stolen from inside the premises.

“The items are all unique, and officers have released photos of them to help with their ongoing enquiries,” a spokeswoman from the force said.

Police are also still appealing for witnesses to come forward.
