In June, The Argus newspaper went on the search for the ‘Barber of the Year’ as nominated and voted for by our readers. The winner was crowned and nowhere is their story.

Owner of Bamo Barbers in Brighton, Sherko Kalar has said “I feel proud after all the hard work and effort the team and I have put into Bamo. Working very hard with long hours to make sure all our customers are happy with the service we provide has certainly paid off. We have our honest regular Bamo customers and now with this award, we are hoping to attract new customers and welcome them to Bamo.

The last time I counted there were 33 skilled barbers in my family, as kids we were always expected to be barbers. Iv had Bamo barbers for approximately 4 years now but lived in Brighton for 12. Bamo is a family-run barbers and all staff have many years experience coming from different countries.

You can find Bamo on Google, Facebook and Instagram plus enjoy special offers at times. The Barbers is open 7-days a week 9 till 7 and on Sundays 10 till 6.
