WOODY Cook, son of Zoe Ball and Norman "Fatboy Slim" Cook, has teased that he would like to appear on Strictly Come Dancing.

Woody, 20, was asked during an Instagram Q&A if he would consider appearing on TV contests.

The aspiring DJ hinted that he would rather go on the dancing show than "I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here".

"I need a job, so you never know. Way more likely to dance than eat bugs."

Strictly is set to return in September for it's 19th season following a reduced number of episodes in 2020.

Woody's mum Zoe, 50, resigned from the Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two earlier this year.

The Radio 2 DJ wrote on Instagram in March that she was "waltzing away" after ten years on the show.

She said it was "time for some new cha cha challenges" and thanked the Strictly team.

Woody himself has already had a taste of reality TV as he has appeared on two of the UK's most popular shows.

The Argus:

In 2019 he reached the final of Channel 4's hit reality show The Circle that sees contestants live in an apartment block for weeks without meeting in person.

Zoe and Woody were watched by viewers across the country on Celebrity Gogglebox as they watched programmes from their Sussex home last year.

Woody is hoping to follow in his father's footsteps and become a professional DJ and regularly posts his own music on his social media accounts.

He has performed sets across the country, the most recent being in Bristol in June.

He is also a co-founder of company Truth Tribe which is described as a collective based on combining music, education and awareness.
