A ROAD has been closed as the fire service responds to reports of a train on fire.
Motorists have been asked to avoid Salthill Road, Fishbourne while West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service deal with an ongoing incident.
Crews from Chichester and Bognor are currently at the scene, which was deemed to be a false alarm.
However, the Coastway line near Fishbourne Railway Station remains closed.
