THIS is how Clubcard holders can exchange points in return for three months worth of Disney+.

This week, Tesco is offering customers the chance to swap £8 worth of Clubcard vouchers for a full three-month subscription to the popular streaming service.

The three-month subscription is available to new and existing customers and is worth £23.97 (£7.99/month).

Home to Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Star, Disney+ was launched to rival streaming giants Netflix.

Tesco Chief Customer Officer, Alessandra Bellini said: “We’ve heard from many of our Clubcard holders that they would like to be able to use their vouchers with a popular streaming service.

"We’re therefore delighted to be able to offer Disney+ as a Reward Partner, giving Clubcard holders the power to keep the whole family entertained for less, and just in time for the long summer holiday too.”

Tesco Clubcard is free to join and allows members to collect points when shopping in stores or online.

Points can then be exchanged on the Clubcard website or App for vouchers which can be used for discounts on food.

The rewards come after the UK’s ‘big six’ supermarkets - Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Aldi and Lidl – issued a warning to shoppers.

New government eco and anti-obesity schemes could see customers spend an extra £160 each year.

The news comes as the British Retail Consortium, which represents all major supermarkets, warned of price hikes in coming months due to rising food, shipping and commodity costs.

The Food and Drink Federation (FDF) told The Sun: “The Government needs to understand the costs of the changes it is demanding and the impact it would have on the cost of household food and drink shopping.

“The suggestion that we should introduce further food taxes at this time is madness.”
