CARAVANS seen at a popular park after a fence appeared to have been broken have now left.
Two caravans along with a truck and a van were pictured making camp Surrenden Field this morning.
Pictures taken from the popular green space show tyre marks leading from the road and across the park - through a wooden fence that lies in pieces.
A tent, along with a dog kennel, could also be seen beside an assortment of vehicles.
It comes after a group of Travellers set up camp at a popular Littlehampton park.
As many as ten caravans and other assorted vehicles were pictured parked in Linden park, which is near the River Arun.
Pictures taken from the site showed several caravans next to a children's play area which appears to be being used to hang up washing.
