A WOMAN in her 80s was trapped inside her car after a two-car crash on a country lane.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Keymer Road in Burgess Hill about 5.20pm on Tuesday.
Police said a woman in her 80s was trapped inside the vehicle and eventually released by West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.
The woman was taken to hospital with a suspected broken sternum, as well as minor cuts.
Photos from the scene of the incident show at least one fire engine in attendance.
