THIS Wetherspoon pub has been slammed as having "worse than NHS food" and "filthy smelly toilets".

Unsatisfied customers of The Post and Telegraph in North Street deemed the pub to be the worst Wetherspoons in Brighton, with almost 100 below average reviews.

Taking to Tripadvisor, disgruntled punters slammed the chain as "terrible" with "inedible" and "horrible" food.

On one occasion, a furious customer gave the pub one star after having "no eggs, no sausages, no beans" with their traditional breakfast.

To let you be the judge, we complied some of the worst one-star reviews.

'Horrible lunch'

"Just to say, avoid that pub as table are sticky and dirty, wine glasses dirty, asked for a tissue to clean my and my friend's glasses.

"Fish and chips is a joke, over-cooked, dry and tasteless.

"Not recommended at all."

'No eggs, no sausages, no beans'

"How can a chain this size not have the staple essentials of a traditional breakfast?

"What made it worse was that we were told no eggs on arrival but when ordering were told no sausages or beans !

"The manager said she has no answer as to why!

"Shocking and disappointing to say the least."

'A special prize for this place'

"I've been in lots of Wetherspoons throughout the country and this is the worst I've ever had the misfortune to step inside.

"The carpet is quite pleasant but won't hide the blood and body fluids this place will get."

'Worse than NHS food'

"Yesterday, I went into this pub.

"The tables were filthy, the chairs dirty

"The toilets stank of stale urine.

"I have worked in the NHS for more than two decades, and have smelt all types of urine, from fresh, to infected, to stale, and even I was disgusted.

"I have also consumed NHS food and trust me, it is better than what I was served.

"Don't go there. Just don't."

'Disappointing breakfast'

"The worst Wetherspoons breakfast we've ever had - cold hash browns, greasy and unappetising - good thing we were very very hungry but now we're regretting it.

"Shame."

In response to the reviews Wetherspoon spokesman Eddie Gershon said: “The Post and Telegraph is an extremely popular and well-run pub in Brighton.

“People are entitled to say as they wish on Tripadvisor.”
