A BEAUTY brand is to open a new store in the city centre this week.

Laser Clinics UK will open its new treatment centre in the old O’Neill unit on the lower mall in Churchill Square on Friday.

The clinic will offer health and beauty treatments including laser hair removal, vascular and pigmentation therapy, and lip enhancements.

To mark the launch, staff will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony and will be offering 50 per cent off selected services for customers who book six treatments.

A spokesman for Laser Clinics UK, said: “We are very much looking forward to opening a clinic in Brighton.

“We assess all of our locations carefully and it has always been a key destination in our expansion plans, we feel that we have found the ideal location at Churchill Square.”

Laser Clinics UK has more than 165 store globally and has UK stores in cities including London, Leeds, Nottingham and Newcastle.

Mark Buchanan Smith, centre director at Churchill Square, said he is “delighted” the brand has chosen Brighton as its next destination.

He said: “We welcome Laser Clinics UK to Churchill Square, they are very well respected in their field and will make a great addition to the shopping centre.

“We’re happy to be able to announce yet another store opening and it’s encouraging to see that Brighton is a key destination for brands opening new premises post-pandemic.

“We are constantly adapting to customer needs and the changing retail landscape after a challenging year of lockdowns.

“Reports have shown that there has been a huge increase in ‘tweakments’ as people enhance their beauty routines for the summer’s social opportunities, so we’re sure that it will be a welcomed and convenient addition for many of our shoppers.”
