KATIE Price’s son has signed his first ever record deal.

Junior, whose father is Mysterious Girl singer Peter Andre, has revealed he recently signed with Columbia Records.

The 16-year-old credited his dad for helping him to kickstart his music career.

Mother Katie was quick to congratulate her son on social media.

“From a young age I knew he would be a star, it wasn’t long ago Junior his dad and me were going through his contract to make sure everything is in place a right for him.

“Now the future is exciting watch the space. I love you Junior.“

Alongside the caption, the 43-year-old mother of five uploaded three photos of Junior alongside Peter and friends.

Junior also took to Instagram to share the news, stating: "Wow.. where do I start. These past 6 months have been hectic. But I’ve loved every single second of it.

"My dad took me to the studio 6 months ago and got me in the booth at @rebelrecs. Since then, I have secretly been working on a MASSIVE project, and not long ago got a call saying @columbiauk want to sign me!

"I would just like to say thank you to the team @rebelrecs alongside my dad who have helped develop me into an artist.

"And of course, a big shoutout to @sktartist and @marcellonoego who are very talented and have been working with me on this project since the start."

Junior also made sure to thank mum Katie, who he said was "always supportive of me."

"And of course, my family and friends. I love everyone who supports me, and I am very excited to go on this journey with you all. NEW MUSIC COMING SOON!!" he added.

The budding singer soon began to receive congratulatory messages from his followers, including dad Peter, who declared he was "beyond proud."

Sister Princess, 13, also showed her support for Junior, commenting: "Congratulations junior love you."

Katie's ex-husband Kieran Hayler also shared congratulations, adding: "Yes junior love this. So proud of you."

The record deal comes after Junior joined his dad on stage in front of thousands of fans at the Fantastia festival in Maldon, Essex.
