For a band whose singer had never been to a gig before playing his own, The Lathums have shot to fame in double-quick time.

Their debut album was recorded at Liverpool’s Parr Street Studios and produced by The Coral‘s James Skelly and Chris Taylor.

In May, the band also released a new live album that captured a historic performance at a Sefton Park pilot event.

They band joined the likes of Zuzu and Blossoms while performing to 5,000 people at the Liverpool park as part of government research into the safe return of live music.

The Lathums tour is due to take them across four countries, playing 60 concerts.

Tickets for their show at Concorde 2 are available now.
