A MAN has been charged after a car drove off the road and smashed through a fence.
Martin Curran, 45, of the Nookery, East Preston, was arrested and charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis and for assaulting an emergency service worker.
He was released on bail to appear before Worthing Magistrates’ Court on October 12.
It comes after firefighters and police attended a crash in North Lane, East Preston, at 6.15pm on Sunday.
The emergency services cordoned off the road while checks were carried out.
