SEVERE delays are expected after part of the A27 near Patcham has been closed.
Delays of 11 minutes have been reported westbound on the road between the A270 near Stanmer Park and the A23 London Road.
Average speeds in the area are just ten miles per hour.
The disruption has been caused by a broken down vehicle, according to Sussex Police.
One lane of the A27 has been blocked, with recovery expected to take around 40 minutes.
