Customers across the south coast including those in Brighton and Hove have reported Sky Broadband outages, with internet and landlines down.

The issue began last night, with residents reporting their broadband being down throughout the evening.

Of these, 98 per cent of the complaints about Sky were about the internet service.

While one per cent reported TV issues and 1 per cent suffered from a total blackout.

Writing on Twitter, a Sky Help Team spokesman said: "Customers may not be able to get online or make/receive calls.

"You can keep up to date on the My Sky App and check your service status."
