ROCK band Royal Blood have announced a homecoming show in Brighton.

The Brighton-formed duo have announced they are due to take to the stage at the Brighton Centre on September 15.

The concert will be their first in their hometown since 2017.

After headlining Victorious Festival in Portsmouth last weekend, Royal Blood announced their homecoming gig, which will feature support from alt-rock quartet The Mysterines.

The band, made up of Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher, shared their excitement ahead of the gig.

“Almost four years later and for our last show of the year, playing our shared hometown, Brighton is going to be pure glory. See you there,” they said.

They relocated to Australia and recorded an EP in Brisbane before Mike returned to the UK.

The band developed their sound in the studios of Brighton Electric, and it was during this time that they were signed by Warner/Chappell Music.
