A HOST of celebrities have congratulated social media stars Zoella and Alfie Deyes on the birth of their first child.

Zoella, real name Zoe Sugg, announced the birth of her daughter earlier this week.

Ottilie Rue Deyes was born on Sunday, August 29, according to an Instagram post shared by the YouTuber to her nine million followers.

The posts caption read: ‘She’s here! Meet Ottilie Rue Deyes 29/08/21”.

It already has over 1.5 million likes and over 30,000 comments from well-wishers.

Among those congratulating the couple was an array of celebrities including chef Jamie Oliver, singer Stacey Solomon, the body coach Joe Wicks and Made in Chelsea brother-sister duo Louise and Sam Thompson.

Former X-Factor singer turned TV presenter Stacey Solomon said: “Omg Zoe. She’s perfect.”

While Joe Wicks commented: “Congratulations. She’s beautiful. Enjoy the cuddles.”

Radio 1 DJ Chris Stark, TV presenter Davina McCall and Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown also shared their well-wishes.

He also shared an image of himself and his new child snuggled in bed together with the caption: “Late night moments with my best pal telling her about all the fin we’re going to have together.”

When Zoe announced her pregnancy in March, she said her daughter would be due in September, making baby Ottilie a few days early.

She announced that she was pregnant during a video featuring footage of her ultrasound and a shot of her showing off her baby bump in the mirror.

The 31-year-old, who lives in Hurstpierpoint, said: “We’re super excited to share with you, that our baby girl will be joining us in September.”

The pair have been in a relationship since 2012.

Zoe Sugg – the older sister of fellow YouTuber and Strictly Come Dancing star Joe Sugg – found fame aged 19 with her fashion, beauty and lifestyle blog and YouTube channel, which currently has more than 11 million subscribers and almost one billion views.
