POLICE are searching for teenagers who demanded money from an elderly dogwalker in a park.

The 78-year-old victim was walking in Goffs Park, Crawley, at about 5.45am this morning.

He was approached by a group of five teenagers, aged between 16 and 18, who demanded money.

The victim told the youths he did not have any cash, but the group obstructed him as he tried to flee.

The teenagers eventually left after the pensioner said he was phoning the police.

The victim has been left "unharmed but very shaken" after the incident.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "The suspects are described as black males, aged between 16 and 18.
