A MAN suffered a serious head injury after being hit from behind in St Leonards.
The victim was struck while walking along St Margaret’s Road, near a car park, at around 2.30am on August 26.
His injury was so severe that it required stitches.
Sussex Police are seeking witnesses to the “serious assault”, with the suspects believed to be two young men wearing hooded jumpers.
