A DOGGY day care centre is offering a free taster session for owners for when it opens at the end of the month.

Bruce’s, which is opening in Ditchling, on September 27, is inviting owners to get a taste of their day care with a free bookable session on a first come, first serve basis.

The dog care business was set up by Bruce Casalis in 2008 and has gone on to win multiple business awards.

Bruce said they cannot wait to become part of the community in Ditchling.

He said: “Our new site in Ditchling will offer local pups and their owners a day care service dedicated to enriching the lives of dogs and we can’t wait to become part of the community here.

“With Covid-19 restrictions easing, people’s schedules are becoming busier, creating high demand for doggy day care services to minimise separation anxiety and maximise the wellbeing of dogs.”

The doggy day care centre state they aim to support dog owners with their busy schedules, while also providing dogs with social play and mental stimulation through “enrichment activities”.

The centre is divided into a number of separate areas, all of which offer plenty of space for dogs both big and small.

There are many spaces for all varieties of dog.

From spaces for smaller dogs to mix and socialise with confidence, a puppy pre-school for younger dogs to play and learn social skills, a “sniffing safari” which is an “exciting zone for curious noses and minds to explore” and many more.

The site also offers a full calendar of weekly enrichment activities to stimulate canine brains and every pooch will be allocated a carer who is “fluent in dog” to devote individual one-on-one time during their days at the centre.
