A TV presenter is set to host a fundraising dinner and auction to raise money for charity.

Natasha Kaplinsky, 49, is hosting the event for The Bevern Trust, a charity for disabled people based out of Barcombe, near Lewes.

Natasha, a patron of the trust, will host the dinner and auction to "celebrate the tireless work" of the charity and the residents of the Bevern View home.

She said: “I am so looking forward to this wonderful evening and to sharing the work of the Bevern Trust with a wider audience.

"I am very proud to be able to help support the amazing Bevern Trust which provides outstanding residential care for eleven profoundly disabled young adults.”

Guests will enjoy a three course meal, have the opportunity to purchase artwork, take part in the auction and be entertained by Natasha as she shares stories of her celebrity life.

The Bevern Trust was established to run a residential home for young adults with profound disabilities and the charity’s motivation is to ensure that the residents of Bevern View live with more "choice, freedom, and opportunity".

This fundraising evening will help support the vital hydrotherapy pool and therapy services which are so essential for the residents.

It will take place on Friday October 15 at 7.30pm at Barcombe Village Hall, BN8 5BH. Tickets can be booked at www.beverntrust.org and cost £45 per person.
