A WOMAN has died after a collision between a mobility scooter and a car on a road in Chichester.
Officers were called to Broyle Road at around 9.45am yesterday (September 16) after reports of a collision between a Peugeot 207 and the scooter.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the rider of the mobility scooter - an 89-year-old woman from Chichester, died at the scene.
The driver of the car, a 95-year-old woman from Chichester, was uninjured in the collision.
Police are investigating and are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have captured any relevant dash cam or CCTV footage.
