A WOMAN posing as a charity worker at a retail park allegedly attempted to steal a man’s Rolex watch.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident outside the Wickes store in Broad Piece, Littlehampton.
The victim was stood outside the shop at 1.45pm on Saturday, September 18, when he was approached by a woman who asked him to sign a charity document.

After he refused, the woman grabbed hold of his arms and tried to convince him to sign the document.
The man, who was wearing a Rolex watch, was able to break free from her grasp and walk away.
Police say it is believed the woman was attempting to steal the watch.
She is white, in her 30s and has blonde, shoulder-length hair.
She is around 5ft 7 in height and slim.
Detective Constable Jordan Holmes said there has been a recent spate of Rolex and other high-value watch thefts across multiple counties.
“If there is anyone that was in the area and has dash cam footage, or has seen the interaction occur, we would urge them to get in touch with us,” he said.
“Their information could help identify the suspect and be crucial to our investigation."
Anyone who saw what happened, or who witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area around this time, is asked to contact police online or by calling 101 quoting serial 973 of 18/09.
