A hitch lock attached to a caravan outside the house had been broken off and the keys to the caravan were also missing from inside the property.
A shed at the rear of the garden is also understood to have been broken into, but it is unclear whether anything has been stolen, according to police.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to the burglary.
Anybody who witnessed anything suspicious in the area around that time is asked to contact police online or by calling 101, quoting serial 226 of 21/09.
