Multi-car collision on A27 between Falmer and Ashcombe roundabout in Lewes
THERE has been a multi-car collision on the A27 eastbound between Falmer and the Ashcombe roundabout in Lewes.
It is currently unclear how many cars are involved in the incident, but the road is said to be partially blocked.
There is queueing traffic between B2123 The Drove to A277 Brighton Road, Ashcombe roundabout, Kingston.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “We are attending a multi-vehicle collision on the A27.
"We are not yet on scene so I can't confirm anything further than that or say anything about the nature of the incident but we are aware of it and on the way."
There is an overturned vehicle and emergency services are on the scene.
