A TEENAGER has been arrested following an “unprovoked” assault that left a 14-year-old boy with facial injuries.
The incident occurred in West Park in Worthing at 3.30pm on Saturday, September 18.
Officers were called to the park, off Shaftesbury Avenue, at 4.06pm following reports of an assault on a 14-year-old boy.

The boy suffered facial injuries during the assault.
On Tuesday, September 21, officers arrested a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He was interviewed and has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
PS Craig Burgess, of Worthing Police, said: "This was an unprovoked attack on a young victim, and we have been able to make a swift arrest following a number of enquiries.
"We take violence against young people incredibly seriously and will always look to take positive action."
