A PICTURE has emerged of a car flipped on the road – believed to be the scene of a “drink-drive” crash which left Katie Price in hospital.

The Brighton-born celebrity, who is understood to be banned from driving, is said to be in hospital after the crash on the B2135 near Partridge Green, on Tuesday, September 28.

Police arrested the 43-year-old reality star for alleged drink-driving, according to The Sun.

A picture taken by Police Constable Tom Van Der Wee, of the Sussex roads policing unit, shows a car flipped onto its side.

Writing on Twitter, he said: “Straight out of the office to a crash in Shoreham and now on scene at a single vehicle crash in West Grinstead.

“Occupant of the vehicle is thankfully on the whole okay. Road is closed whilst we get the vehicle recovered.”

The picture, posted online at 7.54am, has been linked to the crash near Partridge Green by The Sun.

Partridge Green is a small village in the parish of West Grinstead.

A Sussex Police spokeswoman said officers responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash on the B2135 near Partridge Green around 6.20am on Tuesday.

"A woman, 43, was arrested on suspicion of driving while above the legal limit for alcohol and drugs, and has been taken to hospital to be checked over.

"The road was blocked temporarily while recovery of the vehicle was arranged."

An ambulance can also be seen in the background of the photograph.

A South East Ambulance Service spokesman said: "I can confirm we were called at approximately 6.30am to reports of an RTC on the B2135 at Partridge Green.

"One ambulance crew attended the scene and one person was assessed and treated before being taken to hospital."
