SNOOP Dogg says the Duke of Sussex is one of “his boys” – even going as far as inviting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to his house for Thanksgiving.

The American hip hop star, who lives near the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in Los Angeles, has opened up about his friends with Prince Harry and Prince William.

The rapper says they’ve been friends since learning Prince Harry and his brother were fans.

“Harry and William are my boys,” he said during an interview with The Mirror.

“As soon as I knew they were fans I reached out to them and we've been cool ever since.

“I look out for them, and they can reach out to me whenever they want they know that.”

The 49-year-old rapper, known for hit songs including Drop It Like It’s Hot, went on to say he “respects” Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for leading their lives on their own terms.

He also said he supports the couple, despite “the whole world judging them”.

“I said Prince Harry had big balls when he didn't invite Trump to his wedding. And now, for real, I say he's got an even bigger set of balls,” Snoop said.

“Him and Meghan are living their lives like they want and that can't be an easy thing with the whole world judging them. They got to live life their way – they get a lot of respect from me for that.”

Snoop even invited Prince Harry and Meghan to his home for Thanksgiving dinner - adding they'd be in for “something special” if they chose to accept.

Snoop rose to fame at the age of 28 after featuring on Dr. Dre's 1992 debut album The Chronic.

After almost 30 years of industry success, he has released 17 studio albums.
