TRAIN services between Portslade and Worthing have been delayed amid reports of trespassers on the tracks.
Passengers have been told to expect delays of up to ten minutes while trains run at a slower speed between the two stations as a safety precaution.
On Twitter, Southern Rail advised travellers and commuters not to alter their journeys but to allow extra time for travelling.
A spokesman said: “We've been advised of trespassers on the railway between Portslade and Worthing.
“Trains are running at a slower speed than usual as a safety precaution.
"There is no need to change your travel plans but you may need to allow up to 10 minutes extra onto your journey time.”
Southern Rail has been contacted for comment.
