THIS terrifying footage shows a stray dog which is still missing almost being hit by a car on a road in East Sussex.

The dog, which appears to be a beagle, was last seen on the A259 right by Gayles Farm, between Exceat and Friston forest, but is still missing.

A very similar looking dog was found in a woman’s horse yard at around 6.45pm in Heathfield, 16 miles away but is unlikely to be the dog seen in the video. That dog has been sent to Wealden dog warden.

The dog in the video has been spotted in the Cuckmere valley area, East Sussex, since Saturday with sightings on Alfriston Road near the white horse.

Since then, the dog has been spotted towards Friston Forest and East Dean, with the last sighting at Gayles Farm on Tuesday at 5.30pm.

If you have seen the dog, you can report it on this Facebook page.
