THE DUKE and Duchess of Sussex could become a “one billion dollar brand, according to a branding expert.

Andrew Bloch, founder of Frank PR, has predicted that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new “Brand Sussex” could one day become “the world’s richest personal brand”.

The Duke and Duchess have signed multiple lucrative deals since quitting the roles as senior royals, including deals with Netflix and Spotify.

The couple also recently signed on to become “impact partners” at Wall Street firm Ethic – an asset manager which focuses on sustainable investments.

Branding expert Bloch estimates that Prince Harry and Meghan have a combined net worth of around £250 million.

In an interview with Fabulous, Bloch said their business deals and personal endorsements have seen their personal wealth “rocket”.

The Netflix deal is estimated to be worth £110 million, while the Spotify deal is said to have an estimated £18.2 million payday.

The couple also have their own solo projects, with Prince Harry as a chief impact officer with BetterUp - a mental health-oriented consultancy firm, as well as being on the board of Penguin Random House, which will publish his memoir next year.

Meghan has invested in vegan coffee company Clevr, which Bloch estimates could rake in £7.3 million.

Bloch said: "They are really making the most of their newfound status, and their potential to become the world’s richest personal brand looks imminently achievable.

"Them becoming a billion dollar brand is certainly not out of the question. Sky is limitless."

Meghan has also recently been branded an “amazing leader” by Elton John’s husband David Furnish.

The filmmaker praised his fellow Canadian after working closely together during the making of the new animated Netflix series Pearl.

David, who has been in a relationship with pop superstar Elton John since 1993, said Meghan Markle is a “fantastic collaborator” and an “amazing leader”.

Meghan is the executive producer of the new animated programme, which will portray the adventures of a 12-year-old girl inspired by influential women from history.
