THREE men have been arrested after a man was stabbed in East Grinstead.

Officers found a man with stab wounds at the Bridge Bar in the High Street at 1.45am on Friday (October 15).

He is being treated at the Royal Sussex County Hospital.

The victim had been with friends drinking inside the bar when there was an altercation with another group who were asked to leave.

The interaction continued outside and resulted in a brief chase, during which the victim was injured.

The three men, each in their twenties, have been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent.

Anyone who saw anything at the time or captured footage is asked to report it online or call 101, quoting serial 101 of 16/10.
