EMERGENCY services from West Sussex and Hampshire attended the scene of a fire at a terraced house.
Fire crews tackled the blaze involving the roof and first floor of a terraced house in Second Avenue, in the village of Southbourne near the Sussex border last night.
An aerial ladder platform, four jets, three hose reels, six sets of breathing apparatus were used to tackle the fire, which also damaged two other properties.
Firefighters from Chichester, Bognor and Selsey were among those who attended the scene.
Pictures and footage from the scene show emergency teams spraying water on the smouldering roof, which appears to have collapsed.
