Kato

The Argus: Kato (RSPCA)Kato (RSPCA)

Gender - Male

Age - Three years old

Breed - Standard Schnauzer

Colour - Brown and White

Kato is a lively dog with lots of energy and can be quite strong on a lead.

He is food obsessed and would eat until he bursts so his new owner will need to manage this carefully.

Kato is friendly with some other dogs but would benefit from further socialisation. He is looking for an experienced owner prepared to put time into his training and will need a garden.

Sushi

The Argus: Sushi (RSPCA)Sushi (RSPCA)

Gender - Female

Age - Two years old

Breed - Domestic Shorthair

Colour - Black

Sushi came in from a multi cat household where she had not been handled at all. As a result she isn’t very trusting of people and can’t as yet be handled.

She maybe best in a horse stable environment where she can do what she wants.

Although Sushi is very nervous, she’s not feral, so will need feeding twice daily and have somewhere dry to sleep. It might be in that time that Sushi may even begin to trust and become more friendly.

Cookie

The Argus: Cookie (RSPCA)Cookie (RSPCA)

Gender - Female

Age - Eight years old

Breed - Domestic Shorthair

Colour - Black and Tabby

Cookie is a very sweet and affectionate girl once she knows you, but will be shy at first.

She has a history of cystitis in her last home because of stress due to living with another cat who was a bit dominant. Cookie also had it again recently due to the stress of coming to the shelter, although she seems fine again now.

She will need a home where she is the only cat, that has no children and be living with someone who understands cats.

Anise and Carraway

The Argus: Anise and Carraway (RSPCA)Anise and Carraway (RSPCA)

Gender - Female and Male

Age - Both one year old

Breed - Crossbreed

Colour  - Black and Agouti

Anise and Carraway are brother and sister, who will come to you for a head stroke in exchange for a treat.

They are looking for a home together, but are not used to being picked up and handled, so they would be better with older children or an adult home.

They have lots of energy so would need a large run and a secure garden to have a run around in supervised.
