RAPPER ArrDee has cancelled a show due to ill-health.

The Brighton-born musician was due to play at Switch in Southampton on Tuesday, October 19.

ArrDee, real name Riley Davies, announced on social media that he had to cancel the show due to a swollen throat.

In a post on Instagram, he said: “Southampton, proper proper sorry but I don’t reckon I’ll make tonight. Woke up feeling battered with my threat swollen.

“Apologies to anyone who bought tickets. Hopefully we can sort something where I can come down next week and bring double the energy.

“Been a busy month. I’m resting up. Should be back in full motion in a few days.”

Switch Southampton also released a statement regarding the cancellation of the show, announcing the show has been rescheduled for Thursday, December 9.

It said: “Due to reasons out of our control, ArrDee will not be performing tonight.

“The tickets will still remain valid for tonight’s Skint Tuesday event for free entry before 11.30pm.

“Refunds will be issued to all ticket holders. We apologise for the inconvenience.”

The 19-year-old rapper shot to fame in April after the release of the chart-topping remix Body alongside Tion Wayne and Russ Millions.

The hit song became an overnight success after his verse gained popularity on TikTok.

ArrDee often uses Brighton landmarks in his music videos, with the sights including i360, Regency Square and Bexhill Road featuring in the video for chart hit Oliver Twist.
