WALK-IN Covid-19 vaccination clinics are open across Sussex this weekend.

Covid case numbers across the city rose by 252 from Wednesday to Thursday, latest figures show.

A total of 32,974 have tested for the virus in the Brighton and Hove since the pandemic started - up from 32,722 on Wednesday.

Brighton and Hove’s rate of infection stands at 11,303 cases per 100,000 people - lower than the average for England (12,993).

The latest figures come amid concerns that England may have to reintroduce some Covid restrictions to slow the spread of the virus.

Walk-in vaccination centres are open this weekend across Sussex, with no appointment needed.

First, second and booster Covid-19 jabs are primarily Pfizer.

Those after their second doses must wait eight or more weeks from their first dose and must receive the same vaccine type. For booster clinics, it must be six months since your second dose.

Those aged 16 and 17 are able to attend all sessions, unless indicated.
