A CAR which was reported stolen in the early hours of this morning has been found abandoned crashed into a cable box.

The car, which is a white Ford Fiesta, was reported stolen around 1.52am on Sunday morning.

The car was found in a residential area crashed into a cable box in Hangleton Way, Hove, near Greenleas recreational park.

The parked red car next to the Ford Fiesta was damaged from the crash.

The car is still at the scene and police have not taken it away yet. Sussex Police say enquiries are still ongoing.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “We had a report of car stolen from Hove received around 1.52am on 31 October.

“Vehicle found abandoned in Hangleton Way, Hove. Enquiries are ongoing.”
