A MOTORCYCLIST has been badly hurt in a crash.

He was riding in Eastbourne Road, near Willingdon, when he was in collision with a Kia car.

The 20-year-old was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, with serious injuries.

The woman driver of the Kia and her passenger were uninjured.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to the accident, which happened at about 7.30pm.
