A MAN has been fined for speeding in a Mercedes on the A23.
Kaveh Mottaghi has been ordered to pay a total of £257 by Crawley Magistrates’ Court after being caught driving above 70mph on the dual carriageway near Albourne on April 9.
The 55-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence.
Mottaghi, of Lawrence Road, Hove, was fined £133 and given three points on his licence.
He will also have to pay £90 in court costs and a surcharge of £34.
The defendant's guilty plea was taken into account when imposing sentence.
Mottaghi has until November 22 to pay the fine.
