A MAN has appeared in court accused of carrying a spiked knuckle duster.

Nazrul Hussain Miah, 45, was arrested on June 6 last year, accused of carrying an offensive weapon and possession of class A drugs.

Miah, of St James Square, Chichester, is said to have had the self-made spiked knuckle duster in Ockley Road, Bognor.

He is also charged with having one wrap of diamorphine and two wraps of crack cocaine.

He appeared at Crawley Magistrates' Court on Monday after entering a not guilty plea in May.

He has been remanded on conditional bail to appear at Worthing Magistrates Court on December 13.
