A FOOTBALL fan has been sentenced for going near the pitch during a Premier League match.
Glenn Maylon went into an unauthorised area next to the pitch at the London Stadium in Stratford during a game between West Ham and Crystal Palace in August.
The 23-year-old of Caroline Way, Eastbourne pleaded guilty at Thames Magistrates Court in East London and was given a 12-month conditional discharge.
Maylon has also been ordered to pay a surcharge of £22 and costs of £85.
