A MAN has been fined for stealing coats and a leg of lamb from a high street shop.
Colin Weskin admitted to taking £354 worth of coats from Marks and Spencer in Terminus Road, Eastbourne, on August 16.
The 49-year-old also pleaded guilty to stealing a £15 leg of lamb from the same store a week later.
Weskin, of Waterworks Road, Eastbourne, was fined £40 by Brighton magistrates and ordered to pay £369 in compensation.
He will also have to pay a surcharge of £34.
