A MAN has been fined more than £100 for assaulting a police officer.
Simon Kistnen assaulted PC Daniel Kennedy on March 24 at an address in Langney Road, Eastbourne.
At Hastings Magistrates' Court, the 33-year-old was found guilty of assault by beating of an emergency worker.
Kistnen, of Langney Road, Eastbourne, was fined £120 and ordered to pay £50 in compensation.
He will also have to pay a surcharge of £34 and £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
