A MAN has been fined after being caught driving at almost twice the legal drinking limit.

Christopher Keet was caught by Sussex Police in London Road in Rake, near Chichester, and found to have 152 milligrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 80 milligrammes.

The 34-year-old pleaded guilty to driving while over the limit. Worthing magistrates fined him £300 and banned him from the roads for 20 months.

The offence happened on July 6, 2021.

Keet, of Draymans Way, Alton, near Guildford, must also pay £85 costs and a £34 surcharge.
