THE A27 was closed for more than an hour and a half following two separate crashes.

The road was closed westbound at Patcham from 5pm to 6.34pm on Monday, November 29.

A crash involving a car and a motorbike resulted in minor injuries, according to police.

“Temporary road closures were in place until 6.40pm,” a police spokesman said.

Emergency services also attended a second crash on the A27 at about 7pm.

The crash near Hollingbury involved two vans and a car.

Nobody was injured in the second crash.

Vehicle recovery was undertaken by police and motorists were advised to seek alternative routes.
